The Sunday Post #6 (1.5.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey

What a week – between hosting my family on Sunday (23 people in all!) and then New Years in the middle of the week and then the snow storm/super cold temps on Friday, I’ve been so confused as to what day it is. I can’t wait for a regular week with everything back to normal and everyone back to their regular schedule! Plus, I desperately need to get myself back to the gym – the 1/2 marathon I doing (walking not running) is slowing approaching and my training needs to get back on track!

This week is Bout of Books 9.0 and I can not wait! I need a good week of reading to feel like I am ahead with all the review books that are suddenly piled up again. So much for this year being the year I read my own books! I guess I am just going to need to balance between the two – maybe for every review book or two I read, make sure I read one of my own. Are you doing Bout of Books?

Wow, you've had a busy week. I can certainly relate to not knowing what day of the week it is. I long to get back to a regular schedule too. My kids are starting school on Monday. I'll be curious to see what you think of The Spendour Falls.
