It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (1.21.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Last week was a rough week – I ended up getting that nasty stomach bug that is going around. I wasn’t able to do more than just sit on the couch and read. Glad to finally be done with that. Now I am back to my training for the Challenge Walk MS which is the first weekend in March…hopefully I will not have any more roadblocks in my training as a badly sprained ankle and the stomach bug have been more than enough!

I happened to see that there will be a mini-Bloggiesta in 2 weeks – I cannot wait. I have a few things in mind that I want to do on the blog and have been putting them off for a while now. It’s set for February 2nd-3rd.

  • Can’t Help Falling in Love by Bella Andre (review e-book)

Being sick is the worst! I'm glad you're better now. I hope all your books this week are fun reads!

Yes, I'm glad I'm better, too. The only good thing about being sick is all the extra reading time I got in!

Glad you're over the stomach bug! Those are the worst. I need to take part in Bloggiesta, but it seems like I never have the time to put in to any of these big community things lately. Good luck!

I always find that I get a ton of things done during Bloggiesta and still manage to end the weekend with a whole new list of things I want to do after seeing what everyone else is working on!

I'm glad you're feeling better! Now, just stay clear of anyone with Influenza A. That seems to be absolutely rampant these days.

I just picked up Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker at the bookstore on Saturday, after having watched the movie Lincoln on Friday night. I can't wait to get to it and learn a bit more about Mrs. Kekley. Enjoy!
