Summary:

Finlay decides a trip to Maryland is in order. After all, Vero stood by her through her darkest moments, and Finlay will be damned if she lets her best friend and children’s nanny be convicted for something she didn’t do. She sets off on a mission to sus out the real thief and bring Vero home.
My thoughts:
I cannot tell you how much I love this series…six books in and they never fail to disappoint. Finlay and Vero just might be my favorite duo ever…with all the shenanigans they find themselves involved in, I know I’ll be laughing, second-guessing what is to come next and being blind-sided by a few surprises I didn’t see coming. I mean…would you ever expect Nick, Finlay’s hot cop boyfriend to play babysitter to Finlay’s kids?? And that isn’t without its own issues, but the main focus here is Finlay helping Vero clear her name.
My suggestion is to read these books in order so you can really appreciate the bond Finlay and Vero have. It’s sweet and will have you appreciating the more emotional scenes.

I love these books on audio — Angela Dawe knows these characters inside out! It’s like meeting up with friends at this point.
