My thoughts:
There is nothing I love more than a twisty, thrilling story told by some of my favorite authors and so when I heard about this collection of interconnected short stories written by some of the members of @internationalthrillerwriters, I was all in!
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 is exclusively available on @audible right now and written by some of the top thriller writers out there right now…and I had the opportunity to see some of them at #Thrillerfest a few weeks ago! They had a panel called, “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩” and some of the authors participated…it was so fun!
But back to this audiobook–I had so much fun listening to this one, which is narrated by a full-cast! Each of the narrators – January LaVoy, Andi Arndt, Saskia Maarleveld, Kathleen Early, and others – gave it their all for whatever section they did, doing unique voices, using impeccable timing and pacing, you name it, they did it! And those four just happen to be some of my favorite narrators!!!
I loved following the different threads we are given and seeing how they tied together. I also loved that this exposed me to some new thriller writers, giving me a taste of their writing. You bet I’ll be checking out their individual works now!
I’d love to see another collaboration by this group of authors or a new mix…I’d definitely pick it up in a heartbeat!
