Well, despite the fact that January felt like it lasted forever, it has finally come to an end and I have to say it was a really good reading month filled with some excellent books. I was able to not only read some books from my shelves, but also read some stellar review books and I have a feeling that this year we are in store for another great year of new books and I cannot wait!!!
I am participating in one challenge this year – #theunreadshelfproject2020. This is my 3rd year doing this challenge and I’ve had much success in the past so I am eager to see how this year goes. One thing I am doing differently this year is that I pulled 20 books out that I plan to read – my #20backlistin20. These were all books I’ve had sitting on my shelves since before 2020 began. So far, I read 1 of them, but they are all books I really want to read, so I think I should be able to fit them in throughout the year.
Another goal I have is to work on some backlist ARC’s that have been sitting on my shelves. I think I will also create a pile of about 20 that I will work from throughout the year and see how that goes.
