It was a nice quiet weekend – at least for me, which was much welcomed after last weekend. My husband was out both days sailing, but I got to catch up on some reading and enjoy the sun, despite the heat! Boy oh boy, has summer kicked up the temps!!! Work continues to be busy, but I am counting down the days to my beach vacation – we’ve rented a house on one of the beaches where we grew up and I can’t wait – a whole week of reading, relaxing, sand and sun – it can’t get here soon enough!!! 3 week and counting 🙂

My sister, sister-in-law, and I were planning a trip to the beach and we've had to cancel it twice due to unexpected events. So yesterday we did a day at the pool to make up for it. It wasn't exactly the same, but it was nice. Hope you have a great time and enjoy your new books!

A profitable reading week I'd say! The Astronaut Wives club has a good title that entices me so will be watching out for the review. A week of holiday in the near future sounds perfect.
We are off to the beach in another week and I can hardly wait. Lots of time to read, sun, swim. What could be better?
oh I do like Susan Mallery and Iris Johansen!! Looks like some good summer reads. Hope you enjoy the beach, sun and fun with your hubby!!
A beach vacation sounds lovely, all that cool water and a beach to read on.:) I've yet to read Reichs or Mallery but I want to and I used to love Johansen. I may try her again.
