LOVE IS SWEET…

For
Reagan Deveraux, Sugar Creek, Vermont, and the Cupcake Lovers are a
dream come true: A cozy little town where family and friends come before
everything else. She’s never experienced anything like it—especially
not growing up with her mother, a fickle, fame-hungry heiress. But Rae’s
plan to hide out in anonymity for a year until she can claim her
inheritance—and her independence—changes with one kiss from gorgeous pub
owner Luke Monroe.

UNTIL YOU SPICE IT UP…

Luke’s
charm is legendary, but he’s never been a one-woman man. Until Rae
captures his attention, that is, and then disappears. With a little help
from a friend, Luke tracks her down—and unearths secrets almost too
wild to be true, as well as the fact that Rae lied to him, and to all of
Sugar Creek. Luke’s not sure if he can forgive her, but he definitely
can’t forget her, and when she returns to save the Cupcake Lovers from
disaster, he knows it’s his chance to get the truth—and get the girl,
this time for good…

***Short & Sweet Reviews
are short, quick reviews. These will mainly be used for series books
where I have already done full reviews on some of the earlier books or
for books that I feel will suffice with a quick review. These will not
be used for review requests or blog tours.

My thoughts: I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again…I adore this series. I love the characters, I love the small-town setting and I love the romance. I also love all the cupcake recipes included at the back of the book!

Without a doubt, the romance in this book is my favorite so far in this series. I loved Luke and Rae’s journey to their HEA, which was actually foreshadowed in the previous book, The Trouble With Love. But, it’s here in this book that we see them really connect and start their romance. The problem is that each is not without their own personal demons and secrets.

In addition to Luke and Rae’s story, we also get updates on the other residents of Sugar Creek. The Cupcake Lovers need help with their recipe book and the daycare center also needs saving. Who ends up coming to the rescue is quite surprising! And, the next romance is set up for the last book of this series – oh how bummed I am that this series is coming to an end with only one more book left to read.

    2.  The Trouble With Love

I haven't read anything by Beth Ciotta and I think every time I read one of your reviews I must do so.
