First Book of the Year 2015

Each year, Sheila over at Book Journey makes a big deal over what the first book she’ll read will be for the new year and once again she’s asked us to join her.

For
my first book of the year, I decided to go with a book I’ve been
wanting to read for a while – and one that’s been sitting on my shelf
for some time as well. I’m going to be reading: The Violets of March by Sarah Jio.

I’ve
heard such great things about this book and only recently read my first Sarah Jio book – The Look of Love – which I absolutely loved. Now I’m eager to go back and read her back list.

So, what’s your first book of 2015 going to be?

I read this book a few years ago, I think it was the first book I read of Sarah Jios, I loved it and have read all her books every since. My first book this year of 2015 is "I Heart Paris" by Lindsey Kelk. I decided I needed a visit to Paris if only in my mind. Happy Reading in 2015.

I've had this book on my shelf for a while now but just haven't had time to read it. After loving The Look of Love, I knew this was going to be my First Book of 2015. So far, it's really good!

I listened to the audio of this book in 2014 and enjoyed it very much. I haven't read The Look of Love though yet.

I really enjoyed The Look of Love and have been looking forward to picking up more of her books. This one I've had for a while, so I knew it would be a good pick for my first read of 2015!

I've heard a lot of good things about Sarah Jio! Have a happy 2015 of reading! Visiting today, I realized I hadn't visited in a while. It's too bad that it's so much easier for WordPress bloggers to follow WP bloggers than Blogger bloggers, and vice versa!

She's really a good reader. I think this year I'm going to try to read a bunch of her other books – so far they tend to be quick reads. Yes, the whole following process can be a pain when you're on a different platform. But thanks for stopping by!!!
