The Sunday Post #50 (12.7.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Journey

I started to do some holiday decorating this weekend – just a few things here and there. I’m not sure if I’ll go all out this year or just keep it simple. I did get out my holiday candles – I just love the scent of cinnamon and vanilla. My two favorites at the moment are from Yankee Candle – North Pole, which has an icy cool mint and sugary rich vanilla cream scent, and Sparkling Cinnamon, which has a hint of clove combined with the scent of cinnamon stick. Now I just need to get motivated to do my Christmas cards so I can get them out in a timely fashion!

Have a great week everyone!!!

I love cinnamon and vanilla too. Though my current favorite is Apple Toddy from Bath and Body Works. It's got a good Christmas-y smell. Looking forward to your reviews this week! I have a feeling they're not going to be good for my TBR :). Have a great week!

I like Sugar Cookies. Not sure where I got the candles from but it smells like they are baking when you enter the house. Yummy:)
I'm done decorating accept for a few little things and shopping is pretty much done too. Now I'm reading holiday books and watching movies. And just relaxing a little.

I just love vanilla candles and have one burning every evening while I read. That sweet smell just relaxes me so much. I have a day off today so my plan is to start the Christmas decorating. I can't wait to have it all done as I love when my house has the Christmas feeling!
    Have a good week reading!

Looks like you had a busy week. I haven't even started to decorate for Christmas but I know I won't be going all out. I'm a fan of simple. Here is my week. Happy reading!

Mary, those candles sounds so wonderful (I may need to try them in my home). We started to set up our tree last night, and I need to write a few Christmas cards. Enjoy your reading this week!

My favourite candles … cinnamon and vanilla. Christmas has kind of crept up on me, not sure I'll be getting cards out this year, we'll see. I'm keen to read The Oleander Sisters. Have a great week and happy reading 🙂
