My thoughts: This is the second of this year’s summer trilogy in the Fool’s Gold series and boy oh boy is this one a steamy one! And of course, this would have to be the one I decide to listen to on audio. Oh my…my ears were burning a few times and I was certainly laughing out loud at the sticky situations these characters found themselves in!
This installment focuses on Sam and Dellina, characters that were introduced in previous books. In fact, it was in the last book, When We Met, that it was mentioned that they had a chance encounter and from that moment on, I just knew they would have a juicy story and let me tell you, I was right! I loved this story – it might actually be my favorite so far in the whole series. Their journey to happily-ever-after is a bumpy one, yet it is a comical one, especially when Sam’s parents, who just happen to be sex therapists, come to town and offer their two cents.
Once again, Susan Mallery has given us a completely unique romance in a series that just keeps going strong. I don’t know how she does it, but I do know that it keeps me coming back for more!
Audio Thoughts: This is the first time I’ve listened to a book in this series and I found it quite enjoyable. Of course, I don’t know how Tanya Eby was able to keep from laughing out loud while narrating the book as there were so many humorous situations, but she kept it light and fun. If Tanya Eby is narrating the rest of the series, I would seriously consider doing the rest on audio.

Eby does a great job with the narration, doesn't she? I've listened to several books in this series and she's done them all.
I laughed so much in this book – esp. the parts with the parents.
