The Sunday Post #12 (2.23.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.

Another week come and gone.  While I loved watching the Olympics, I’m glad they’re over – I need my reading time back!!! Now my focus is on training for the 1/2 marathon – 3 weeks and counting. Good thing for audio books!!! I just love putting on a good audio book and walking…which is what I’ll be focusing on these last few weeks – getting some good distance walks in.

Have a great week everyone – can’t believe it’s already the last week of February!

I'm the exact opposite. Since the Olympics were on, I wasn't watching my regularly scheduled TV shows and was therefore able to read MORE than normal. But I am glad to have my shows back too. Kudos on training for your 1/2 marathon! That's great! And I've been listening to more audiobooks lately too. Hope you have a great week!

Looks like a busy week! I was hating not having my regular shows. I didn't watch the Olympics.

I enjoy the Chevy Stevens books…and JoJo Moyes is another new favorite for me, and there are still many of her books that I haven't yet read.

Enjoy your week! Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

Since I haven't been watching the Olympics, I've been able to read more. Sounds like you've been busy. Have a great week!

Good luck with the Half Marathon, wow! I've done a 10K race before and that took everything out of me, but boy, there is no feeling like crossing the finishing line. I've got The Invention of Wings on my TBR pile. Have a great week and enjoy your books. My Sunday post is here

I didn't pay much attention to the Olympics but I haven't done much reading because I was busy surfing the net 😛 I'm so far behind my reading challenge.

I didn't get into the Winter Oly much this year, but World Cup is coming up, so I'll be glued to the tele then. And hooray for doing a half marathon (in the next few weeks)! How exciting – can't wait to hear more about it.

Hi-ya. I wandered over via your link on the SheReads site. I'm a book junkie, so it makes sense to hook up with other word addicts, right? Right. (At least reading isn't fattening.)

Nice to meetcha. Count me in as your newest groupie.

I was so sick last week I missed all kinds of reading time. I'm hoping this week is better.
