It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (11.4.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

How is it November already??? I’ve been seeing postings for 2014 reading challenges slowly popping up and am trying to decide whether or not to participate in any…especially since I don’t seem to be doing too well in the ones I signed up for this year. But, I’m sure I will sign up for some – it’s hard not to! Do you participate in any? How do you decide which ones to do?

I have never tried a Carly Phillips book, must do so at some point, have heard of her, but never got as far as sampling.
I haven't thought of challenges yet, will try one or two. I did try a couple of TBR challenges, the trouble is that pile keeps growing and I seem to find myself now with more in it than I had at the beginning of 2013.

I've never done good with the Book Challenges. I seem to always want to read on a whim and not what I am supposed to be reading. Call me a rebel. Great reads this week – would love to see a review of The Engagements.

It is so fun to try book challenges, but I end up becoming resentful of having to read certain books. So I haven't signed up for any in the last few years.

    Here's my Its Monday!

I have decided to really cut back on challenges this upcoming year. I haven't finished all the ones for 2013, and I think it was a case of "my eyes were bigger than my stomach." I'd see one that looked good…and challenging. And sign up.

Not a good way for me to go!

I'm eager to learn more about the Joshilyn Jackson book on your list….I haven't read that one!

This week I have no reading plans since I have book convention starting Thursday. I am listening to Skinwalker by Faith Hunter (different but good). I am going to see if I have any Christmas type books on audio that I haven't listened to yet.

Oww the challenges for 2014… I think I will only do the goodreads challenge that is the only one I do not need to remember because it happens automatic. I hope to finish more than one book this week. I have been to tired to concentrate. Enjoy your books!

I host 3 challenges of my own and I'm going to sign up for a few. Not alot, but some. I don't always complete them, but they are fun to me.

I hope you have a great week. My Monday post is here.

Kristin, you are very good at list-making, and far more organized than me. I hope you enjoy your reading this week. Now that it gets dark earlier, I want to read MORE!
