It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (8.6.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

I am in the middle of participating in my first ever read-a-thon, the Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-thon which runs from August 4 – August 12, and I am having a great time and getting in tons of reading. I also found out that there is another read-a-thon coming up right after this one ends – the Bout of Books Read-a-thon runs from August 13 – August 19 and I will be participating in that one, too. Perhaps by the end of both read-a-thons, I might just be caught up on some of the review books that I have received lately.

The readathons sound like so much fun and a great way to catch up, I haven't done one in ages!
Still Missing was intense, I'm off to check out your review.
    Have another wonderful week 🙂

So far, I've gotten quite a few books done, so I'm pretty happy.

Yes, intense is definitely the right word for Still Missing – great but WOW!

Okay – so many on your list that I want to read too! Are you loving Girl with Dragon Tattoo series? I liked Robyn Carr and do have more of her on my Kindle that I want to get back to. Also, On the Run intrigues me. Great list!

I am loving the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I had read book 1 about 2 years ago and then never got around to the other two books. I decided to listen to book 1 so that I could refresh my memory of what happened before starting book 2. Once I finished book 2 I couldn't wait to start book 3, but had some review books to get to first.

I love the Robyn Carr series. Have you read her Grace Valley series? I want to read that one next.

That's because of the read-a-thon which started Saturday. Since then I've been averaging 1 book a day.

They are really good books – a little disturbing at times, but overall, they hook you in from the first page.

I participated in one Read-a-Thon awhile ago, but got distracted by other books…sigh.

I have the second Stieg Larsson book on my stack…soon!

    Hope you enjoyed Ninepins.

I read the first book about 2 years ago and then just didn't have time to get to the next two. But I decided this summer both were getting read. They are really good, by the way!
