It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (7.16.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

It was a good week. I got some reading done, including finishing up 2 audio books and spent some time organizing my bookshelves. I also did some heavy-duty cleaning of my house – this heat is causing the dog to shed so much that there is hair everywhere!

I’m heading to the beach next weekend and I cannot wait – my first beach trip of the summer! My sister-in-law has a beach house and I can’t wait to spend time with her and my nephew and soak up the sun, listen to the waves and get some quality reading time in!

  • Still Missing by Chevy Stevens (library audio book)
  • Summerland by Elin Hilderbrand (library book)

I've wanted to read an Elin Hilderbrand all summer. Maybe I should just do it, right? I hope you're enjoying Stieg Larsson too. I loved those books.

Love the cover for Poseidon. Looks like last week was pretty awesome in reading, and hope you have another great one this week. How was Dragon Tattoo – I really liked it – are you going to continue the series?

I tried to read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo ages ago but just couldn't get into it. I hope you enjoyed it though. Summerland looks like a really intense read that I've added to my TBR list! Have a great week Kristin!

I usually love Sophie Kinsella books, but couldn't get into her newest one for some reason. I look forward to seeing what you think of it.
