It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (6.4.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

This past weekend was the annual Back-to-the-Beach book sale at one of the local churches. I’ve gone for the past two years and always end up with at least a few books. This year, not only did I get some books (see my Stacking the Shelves post link below) but I also ended up with a hutch and sideboard piece for my dining room. I had dragged my husband along with me to the book sale and while he didn’t find any books, he did notice that the two furniture pieces were for sale and they would be the perfect fit for our house – it’s a craftsman style house that was built in 1913 and has all wood trim throughout the house. The two pieces were built in the 1940s and look like they were made for our house. Now all I need to do is find the perfect dining room for the room!

Great list of reads! I so enjoy Trigiani's books…and LOVED Kate White's So Pretty it Hurts.

Evanovich is another one I enjoy, although I have only read three of the "numbered" books and a couple between the numbers.

    Enjoy your week!

I love Adriana Trigiani's books, too. Did you read The Shoemaker's Wife yet? It was amazing!!!

I am loving the Evanovich series – they are fun and quick – even the audio versions.

I've found books one and two to be pretty funny, so I would expect book three to be funny as well. I absolutely love the scenes that involve Grandma Mazur – she is hysterical!!!

I was so excited when my husband found it. I've spent the week putting all my dishes in – I finally got to open the gifts I got for my shower/wedding three years ago!

Great finds at the church sale … I get excited over things like that. I'm getting a bit anxious, my copy of The Secret Keeper hasn't arrived yet.
How you finding Still Missing? I think I mentioned I listened to it on audio and it was a favourite read.
Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

I hope your book arrives soon. I really liked the story. I'm just a little bit into Still Missing and I like it so far.
