It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (4.7.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs

Last week was bit of a slow week for me – I had a lot of other stuff going on so I didn’t get in as much reading as I would have liked nor did I get to the many reviews I have piled up. I’m hoping this week will be a little quieter. I am excited, though, that Sunday brought on the beginning of sailing season which means lots of quality reading time on the porch of the boat club while hubby races.

Books Completed last week:

  • One for the Money by Janet Evanovich (mine)
  • Babyville by Jane Green (library audio book)
  • So Pretty It Hurts by Kate White (library book)

  • Home Front by Kristin Hannah (library audio book) – in car/house

I still need to read One For the Money. I may watch the movie first so maybe I won't be as disappointed with the movie.

I hope you are enjoying the Home Front audio. I read the book last month and I thought it was really good. I also want to read The Weird Sisters. I've had that on my TBR list for awhile.

Sitting on a porch and reading sounds like fun! I hope you have a more productive week 🙂

One for the Money was funny, but since seeing the previews of the movie, I kept picturing Kathryn Heigel as the main character.

Home Front is good and so is The Weird Sisters.

Everyone seems to be reading Home Front but The Queen's Pleasure is one I'm interested in. I only finished 1 book last week but at least it was an awesome one! I bet you're looking forward to that extra reading time 🙂
Have a wonderful week & happy reading!

I'm looking forward to starting The Queen's Pleasure – it's for a blog tour at the end of the month. Home Front is really good – intense, but good.

You are too organized! As for me, I'm reading one book, Whole Latte Life.

Thanks…I find it helps me organize my week and what reviews need to be done. I've heard good things about Whole Latte Life – hope you are enjoying it. I'm intrigued about you mentioning me on your blog – heading over to check it out!

I track new releases in my calendar, so I was happy when my reminder for 11th Hour popped up today. I love The Women's Murder Club! I recently checked out Home Front from the library. Have you read Firefly Lane by her? It's so good. If you haven't, I think you will enjoy it. Have a good reading week!

I picked up my copy of 11th Hour and am hoping to start it today! Home Front is a real emotional read, but really good. I did read Firefly Lane – loved that one, too!
