It’s Monday – What Are You Reading? (5.9.11)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

Last week was a busy week, but I did make it to the author meet and greet for Elizabeth Berg – so exciting! I also managed to spend a lot of time this past weekend reading on my porch – this has become my new favorite spot to read.

This week is looking to be a bit busy, but I am still hoping to get in some quality reading time.

Books Completed last week:

  •  Elizabeth I by Margaret George – review to be posted later today

Reading Now:

  • A Turn in the Road by Debbie Macomber (library book)
  • Pandora’s Daughter by Iris Johansen (library audio book)
  • Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff (book club book, mine)

Next:

  • Moonlight Cove by Sherryl Woods (library book)
  • Friendship Bread by Darien Gee (review book)

Reviews completed this past week

Other Posts related to books:

Books for which I need to finish reviews:

  • The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

Contest information:

  • None right now – check back soon!

What about you?  What does your reading week look like this week?  Whatever it is, happy reading and have a good week!

What a great list! So I immediately checked out Friendship Bread. Last year my Mother in Law was gifted some friendship bread and started and before I knew it everyone in our community was making it. (I gifted it to many of our neighbours as well).

    Have a great reading week!

There are a lot of books on your list that I want to read! Friendship Bread looks interesting and I've been wanting to try Debbie Macomber's books. I still need to read Elizabeth Berg too.

I hope you enjoy your reading this week.

I'm curious to see what you think of "Cleopatra" – I want to get to it when I have more time to really spend digesting it.

You have a great list there. I didn't get to finish Cleopatra, but it's on my to-read list for this summer. Enjoy your reading week!

So glad to see you loved the new Wendy Wax book! I've got a review coming up for that one at the Chick Lit site I review for.

Hope you have a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop my to see what I've been reading at There's A Book! 🙂

My list this week is inflated with picture books that I read with my daughter and manga that I read over my morning coffee. Come see what I'm reading this week.

I totally understand how busy weeks can get in the way of good, quality reading time. Hope you squeeze some in this week!
