Teaser Tuesdays 5-11-10

MizB of Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesday. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s a tease of what I am currently reading:

Great. I was becoming Miss Havisham. Next I’d be eating rotten food and setting the clocks to twenty to nine.

From Too Good To Be True by Kristan Higgins , pg. 74

Please leave a comment with a link to your teaser so I can stop by.

*shudder* I'd be changing my ways. Who wants to be Miss Havisham? Unless it's the one in Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series. She's cool.

Interesting, somehow the teaser doesn't quite match the cover, which is all the more intriguing.

I loved this book! This was the first Kristan Higgins book I read, and I've been hooked ever since. I hope you're enjoying it…
