My thoughts:
I have been a fan of the Parrish books since the beginning, so when I saw this audiobook original I didn’t hesitate to grab it. I love being able to learn the backstory of pivotal characters in series and delving into Jackson’s history was fun! This is one of those stories where maybe it isn’t necessary, but it sure explains a lot! Was Jackson not a favorite in the full-length novels? Give this a listen and those feelings will be justified!
This is a quick listen & the sound effects and narrators all contribute to make this an enjoyable, binge-worthy listen. Scott Brick, Ari Fliakos and Suzanne Elise Freeman all deliver excellent performances here, managing to pull you into this short story immediately and keep you fully engaged the entire time!
