My thoughts:
Give me all the messy domestic thrillers! There is just something about thrillers set in suburban neighborhoods that is so ideal. I mean there is a reason that show Desperate Housewives was so popular, right?
I love books where you quickly find yourself hooked. And with the three friends we meet here, where it soon becomes apparent that while everything looks perfect on the outside, that is quite far from the truth once you start to do a little digging, I couldn’t put this one down, especially after one of the husband’s winds up murdered!
This is one of those books were everyone is hiding something and nothing is as it seems. As the investigation heats up, we get to see firsthand the layers peel back. There are secrets, drama and the tension is high! And just when I thought I had things figured out, the rug was pulled out from under me, and I was left holding nothing! So good, so crazy!!
This is such an addicting, binge-worthy read that takes you on a wild ride – buckle up and enjoy!
