Summary:

When Caz steps onboard the exclusive cruise liner RMS Atlantica, it’s the start of a vacation of a lifetime with her new love, Pete. On their first night they explore the ship, eat, dance, make friends, but when Caz wakes the next morning, Pete is missing.

And when she walks out into the corridor, all the cabin doors are open. To her horror, she soon realizes that the ship is completely empty. No passengers, no crew, nobody but her. The Atlantica is steaming into the mid-Atlantic and Caz is the only person on board. But that’s just the beginning of the terrifying journey she finds herself trapped on in this white-knuckled mystery.

My thoughts:

This is only the second book I’ve read by Will Dean and I can definitely say he is definitely going on my must-read list. I don’t know how he does it…but wow! This was another unbelievably fantastic thriller that I highly recommend!

Now, my suggestion with this book is to go into it completely blind. Do not read anything about this one…trust me, it is better that way. This book is so unique and crazy but in the best way! It’s a locked-room mystery like nothing I have read before and I have not stopped thinking about it since I finished it. This book might be a bit intimidating at it’s length – coming in at just shy of 450 pages, but trust me when I say it is all needed! The build up to the twists are so worth it and then the way it all plays out right up until the very end! Yes, I’m purposely being vague here but I really cannot say much without spoiling it. I will say this one threw me for a loop and it was such a good shock! I was already not really keen on going on cruise ships and this one has made me think I’ll never be giving them a try!

I love Will Dean’s writing and cannot wait to see what this clever man brings us next!
