Month in Review: August 2021

And here are we in September…this year really is flying by! I had another great month of reading, this time reading quite a few of my own books and some backlist review books, too! It looks like this month coming up is amped up with great releases and I’m looking forward to quite a lot of them…I just need time to slow down so I can fit them all in!

As I have mentioned previously, I have been participating in many online book clubs this past year, and I am thrilled to announce that I am stepping up to co-host one of them! I am so excited about this new role in the #mommaleighellensbookclub and look forward to helping my friend LeighEllen grow and manage the book club. We read a mix of genres, always one historical fiction, and then branch out from there. There are usually at least two selections, though this month we are reading four. You can join one, two, three or all four. The chats happen on the Discord app, though we do have communication and announcements all done in Instagram chats. And sometimes we are even able to arrange to have zoom chats with the author. Do let me know if you’d like to join and I’d be happy to add you to whatever chat you are interested in. Here is the announcement for the September selections: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTSJ85KrTG_/
