As you all know, I am a huge fan of crime fiction, so I was thrilled to see some of my favorite authors in this mix. What I love about picking up something like this is that it allows me to get to read something from beloved favorites like Ruth Ware, Laura Lippman, Alison Gaylin and Lisa Unger, and at the same time, getting a feel for the writing of some new-to-me authors, in this case, Oyinkan Braithwaite and Jeffrey Deaver. And now I want to read more of their writing!

And the fact that these pieces are all short means that you can either read each piece in one sitting, spreading them out over a few days, or like me, devour all six stories in a matter of a few hours!  Each story captivated me completely and kept me engaged all the way through! They are thrilling and original stories that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this short story collection – whether you read them all or just pick a few…you won’t regret it!

What
do you think? Will you be reading or listening to these? Or have you
done so already? Let me know if you do!
