A
thriller that questions what is real-with its shocking twists, secrets,
and lies―The Woman in the Park will leave readers breathless.

My thoughts: When you read psychological thrillers as much as I do, it’s hard to find one that completely takes me by surprise. That’s not to say that I am going to stop reading this genre, but it does mean that I can usually figure out where things are heading or at least have some picture as to what is happening, but that was certainly not the case with this debut novel and I could not have been more pleased!

Don’t let this short book fool you – coming in at just under 200 pages, this short book packs quite the punch! It pulls you in right from the start and the twists and turns will leave you gasping at the end. I definitely did not see that ending coming and I loved it! There are many takes on the cheating spouse/domestic thriller, but I can assure you, you have not read this take on it. You may think you know where this book is heading, but I assure you, you haven’t read this one and it’s so good!

I loved every minute I spent reading this book. It was such a thrilling, fast-paced read that I did not want to put down and didn’t – I read it in one sitting! This is easily a book you can binge-read and the suspense is there right from the beginning. I love when we don’t know if we can trust the characters and I felt this for just about every character we met. It makes me pay extra attention to them – their actions, what they say, their attitudes – the whole nine-yards.

This book was such a great read and I cannot recommend it enough. As I stated earlier, don’t be fooled by the shortness of this book – it’s a well-rounded, powerful little book that deserves all the attention and hype it is getting! I cannot wait to see what this writing duo gives us next!

The ending was one I didn't see coming either. It was really good. Great review!
