#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in April 28

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

Today was the Shape Woman’s 1/2 Marathon – and it was great!!! I walked it and had a pretty good race. The race was around Central Park in NYC and despite it being a bit hilly, it was rather a nice course. I have to admit, I didn’t really train for this as much as I would have done had I not just completed that big walk back in the beginning of March (the 3-day, 50 mile walk). And, being a few hours post-race, I’m feeling pretty damn good!!! I think I’ve officially been bitten by the race-bug, now that I finished that one, all I can think about is what’s the next one 🙂

April Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend – met
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F – met

Great job on the race. And what a great couple of weeks. Hopefully all this rainy weather will stop and I can get out more!
