#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in February 10

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

We had a crazy-big snowstorm on Thursday – 10 inches and so I spent Thursday afternoon shoveling…good exercise as the snow was wet and heavy! Boy oh boy was I sore the next day!!! I got some good training walks in this past week and I think I’m in good shape for my walk…only 19 days to go 🙂

January/February Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend – 5/5, 2/2
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F – met
  • Eat
mindfully/eat enough (esp. in important while training!) – met

My training plan for the Challenge Walk MS I’ll be doing in March of 2017:

  • 4 miles, 2 days a week, interval training – met
  • Distance walks (distances will vary, try to do 2 days, back-to-back ) – met!
  • Practice yoga – didn’t do any full sessions this week, but got in some specific poses every day.

How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.

***In March, I’ll be doing the CHALLENGE WALK MS in Savannah, GA. It is a three-day, 50-mile walk that tests your strength and your
spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of people
with MS and their families.

Oh my!! I can't believe the walk is less than 3 weeks away!! Are you totally excited?! Who is going with you?

Yes, the snow is getting me down. We have had a crazy week of weather since I've been back from Coastal Magic. I made myself go out for a walk today and shoveled for 30 minutes. I need to take better care of myself.
