#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in November 18

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

I had another good week – I took it easy, got lots of rest and am ready to get back to my training. I’m not going to go crazy, but I am anxious to take it up a notch! And since I’m not working, I don’t need to do it first thing in the morning, so as long as it’s not raining, I can actually walk outside if I want. Of course, it’s supposed to be cold this week, so I’ll have to take it on a day-by-day basis, but I’m looking forward to getting back to it.

November Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend – 4/5, 1/2
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F – Met
  • Eat
mindfully/eat enough (esp. in important while training!) – Met

My training plan for the Challenge Walk MS I’ll be doing in March of 2017:

* Put on hold until I get better!

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 4 miles
  • Saturday & Sunday: Distance walks (distances will vary)
  • Try to attend one yoga class a week

Here’s how my week went:

Nov 12:  5,177 steps
Nov 13:  11,739 steps
Nov 14:  10,389 steps

Nov 15:  8,473 steps
Nov 16:  14,133 steps

Nov 17:  12,022 steps

Nov 18:  11,049 steps
Total Steps: 72,982 steps

Audiobooks listened to this week (since I’m not much of a music fan, I listen to books while I walk):

  • Started & finished Winter Storms by Elin Hilderbrand, narrated by Erin Bennett

How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.

***In March of 2017, I’ll be doing the CHALLENGE WALK MS in Savannah, GA. It is a three-day, 50-mile walk that tests your strength and your
spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of people
with MS and their families.

Yea!! I'm so glad you are almost better!! What a long time it took. I've been listening to SIDE JOBS – a Dresden Files anthology, but I didn't get to walk much this past week, so not much listening.
