#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in September 30

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

The crazy time at work has finally passed…our data reports have been sent off to the feds and now we just wait and see how we ended up doing. The good news is that now I can concentrate on not only my training for my big walk coming up in March, but even closer than that – my vacation next week! I’m off to Nova Scotia for my cousin’s wedding!!! I just have 2 days of work and then 2 weeks of vacation – 1 week of which will be spent in Canada. We’re driving, which is quite a long drive – about 14 hours, but I have my audio books and my husband will be working (I’m doing the driving!), but it will be so nice to see my cousins and to do some sight-seeing. And to RELAX and recharge and come back ready to start up my training for the walk!!!

My September Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend 2/5 and 2/2!!!
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F – 5/5 – thank goodness for the dogs!!!
  • Eat
mindfully/eat enough (esp. in important while training!) – Did ok.

My training plan for the Challenge Walk MS I’ll be doing in March of 2017:

How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.

***In March of 2017, I’ll be doing the CHALLENGE WALK MS in Savannah, GA. It is a three-day, 50-mile walk that tests your strength and your
spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of people
with MS and their families.

Have a safe trip! I love listening to audiobooks in the car. Will you use headphones, or does hubs mind listening, too? Good luck sticking to your training while on the road.
