#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in April 15

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

While I did pretty well getting my steps in, it was more of just being super busy this past week. I only made it to the gym one day and never really did anything else other than taking the dogs for their usual walks – though due to the nicer weather towards the end of the week, we did take a few extra walks 🙂

I really need to concentrate on my eating habits…I haven’t been sleeping well lately and am wondering if it might have something to do with my diet. It’s not that I eat poorly, but I’m sure there are some things I could cut out/add that might be beneficial. The only problem is that I’m not really a cook – my husband is the real cook of the family and because he’s been working later each night, he hasn’t been cooking as much.

Here’s how my week went:

Apr  9:  5,220 steps
Apr 10:  9,220 steps
Apr 11:  17,089 steps
(35 minute fitness walk on treadmill)

Apr 12:  10,196 steps
Apr 13:  13,838 steps

Apr 14:  13,170 steps

Apr 15:  14,642 steps

Audiobooks listened to this week:

  • Finished You by Carolina Kepnes, narrated by Santino Fontana
  • Started & Finished Sweet Forgiveness by Lori Nelson Spielman, narrated by Tavia Gilbert

Great job with your steps this week! It is hard to eat healthy and I hope you are able to figure out what is causing the insomnia and sleep better this week.

    Great job!
I was not a great cook, but I started small, easy things, interesting things and now it's fun. So try it. But yes the easy ones, easy ingredients, and fast

I feel your pain, so to speak. I hate cooking, and therefore, I don't plan well. With our busy schedules, we are eating more take out and easy-to-cook foods. I need to take better care of myself as well.
