The Sunday Post #95 (12.27.15)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase
books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up
on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Kathryn’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Date.

I can’t believe this is the last Sunday Post of 2015…what a year it’s been! We spent Christmas Eve with my husband’s family – it’s always a big family gathering with all the cousins and aunts and uncles. Christmas Day is more low-key, which is just fine. We spent the day at my in-laws and then went to my brother’s for dessert. My family does our Christmas celebration next week – it’s just easier that way, and we’ve been doing like this for the past few years. This year it’s at my brother’s house – the past 2 years I’ve hosted. I’m looking forward to a quiet week of catching up on some last minute reads in 2015!

Have a great week everyone!!!

Glad you had a nice Christmas and it was all pretty low-key. Mine was too, and I'm quite happy that way! 🙂

I hope you had a good holiday. Mine was very low key. All my family is out of state and several states away, so it was just DH and me. I did see my in-laws at Thanksgiving and my brother and sister-in-law right before Thanksgiving. My mom will come in the summer.

That's a lot of visiting for the holidays. I like low key and quiet. I see you have 3 Truths and A Lie coming up, I liked it.

    Happy New Year!

I like the idea of a family celebration after the official day. Sounds a bit more relaxed. Hope you have a wonderful time. We host Thanksgiving and other relatives do Christmas Eve and Day – which I love 🙂

Having two sets of families make it a merry go round at Christmas, but lovely to be part of such big families. Lots of books I recognise here! Loved the KHiggans book, she just gets better and better. Looking forward to your reviews and goals for next year!

I can't believe it is the end of the year either. This year just flew by…scary.

Have a great last week of 2015, and Happy 2016.

Having big families can make for weeks of celebrating … enjoy yours! The Nightingale was my favourite book this year and I loved The Things We Keep. Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

It's such a frenzy up til Christmas, yeah? I was exhausted. We only celebrate on the eve of which is nice. We got to lounge in our PJ's and watch Christmas movies all day on Christmas.
