#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in September 18

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

It ended up being a crazier week than I anticipated due to work, which I have the feeling is going to be the case for a while now. Being involved in those FitBit weekly challenges does help motivate me to get my steps in which is a good thing, especially when I’m stuck on the computer all day doing data entry. Now I just need to find some time to fit in some yoga – than I’d be happy!

Here’s how my week went:

Sep 12:  8,524 steps
Sep 13:  6,117 steps
Sep 14:  Gym – 5k on treadmill (50 minutes),
17,766 steps

Sep 15:  45 minute fitness walk, 15,276 steps
Sep 16:  2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 10,203 steps

Sep 17:  2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 10,031 steps

Sep 18:  2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 8,585 steps

Audiobooks listened to this week :

  • Finished The Admissions by Meg Mitchell Moore, narrated by Allyson Ryan
  • Finished Little Black Lies by Sandra Block, narrated by Kara Bartell

I have the same issue with a desk job, those long spells of sitting are not good for my steps. Although I do confess to taking the long way to my desk and doing the stair steps at least three times when I go to the bathroom!
We must do a challenge this week. I'm doing ok right now but I want to make sure I keep it up 🙂

You're doing great, Kristin. I agree those challenges can be motivating.
