The Sunday Post #81 (8.2.15) – A Day Late

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase
books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up
on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with
Sheila’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Journey.

Why is the week before vacation so stressful!!! Between finishing up projects for work, having blog posts set up for while I’ll be away, laundry, packing, deciding what books I want to bring, food shopping, (we’re renting a beach house for a week!!!) – this vacation can’t come fast enough!!! I’m taking 2 weeks off, though we’ll only be at the beach for a week. First we’re heading to a family wedding for a few days, then to the beach and then I included a few days at the end just to be able to get laundry done, and catch up on e-mail and the blog before heading heading back to work.

My sister-in-law and her family are also renting a house at the beach, so it should be a fun week. I hope to get in a good walk on the beach each morning and then hang out on the beach, getting in some sun, some quality reading time and just playing with my nephews and niece.

Have a great week everyone!!!

I know what you mean about the week before vacation! Total craziness. I actually make a list of the lists I need to make. Hopefully all the relaxing you're going to do next week makes up for next week! I'm really curious about The Paris Key. I've enjoyed the mysteries by Juliet Blackwell so far and this one looks intriguing.

Sounds like a very nice vacation time coming up once the rush of pre chores are completed. Enjoy.

It's amazing how stressful getting ready for a vacation can be. You need a vacation just to recover! Enjoy the wedding and the beach, and happy reading!
