This past week was a week filled with family visits. Lunch with my goddaughter and youngest sister on her birthday on Monday, a trip to the Camden Aquarium on Thursday with my mom and my middle sister’s kids (mom was watching her kids), and a birthday for my goddaughter on Saturday. I love all these visits with my nieces and nephews. We Skype a lot, but nothing beats visits in person!

I need to start reading Natchez Burning also, since the second part is coming out this month. The size of it is intimidating me, but I've heard good things about it so I must dive in!

I'm a little behind in Kathy Reichs' books but have struggled a bit with her more recent novels. Keen to hear what you think of Jane Casey's The Burning!

The Kearsley book has been getting good reviews, I hope you like it.
