#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in March 27

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

Well, the week didn’t quite calm down work-wise, as I had hoped, but I did get more walking in than last week. I still didn’t make it to the gym, but tried harder each day to get those steps in. And, of course, the days I did get my walks in, I felt much better, even though work was so stressful. It really goes to show how exercise does help!

Here’s how my week went:

Mar 21:  rest day (7,824 steps)
Mar 22:  rest day (7,,579 steps)
Mar 23:  1 hour indoor walking (10,953 steps)
Mar 24:  1 hour indoor walking (15,669 steps)

Mar 25: 1 hour indoor walking (11,748 steps)

Mar 26:  7,028 steps
Mar 27:  8,801 steps

Audiobooks listened to this week – it was a great audiobook week – finished 2 books!

  • Die Again by Tess Gerritsen, narrated by Tanya Eby
  • The Tapestry by Nancy Bilyeau, narrated by Nicola Barber

How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.

Great job with the steps! Exercise is a good stress reliever. I hope the coming week is a calm one.

My rest days aren't usually that high with steps – I was busy getting ready for a family gathering at my house – lots of cleaning and running around!

Great job this week! Even on your rest days your steps are high! You are busy those days! I understand about work stress. That's what I'm dealing with now and exercise is helping. I hope we both have a less stressful week =)

Thanks Kathy…usually I'm not quite that active on my rest days, but that Sunday, I had a rather large gathering at my house, so my rest days were filled with cleaning and running around. No scheduled walks, just running around like a lunatic!!! I hope we have a less stressful week, too! Thank goodness the warmer weather is here – it's so much easier to just take a break and go for a walk – even a short one. Does a world of good!

Great walking even on your rest days. I call it stress-walking when I'm running around like a chook with its head cut off rather than doing an actual walk. Either way it counts hey. Hope your week is less stressful!
