The Sunday Post #58 (2.8.15)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Journey

We are due to get another snow storm tonight into tomorrow…this time a wintry mix with ice, which is so much worse than just plain snow! Ughhh…it seems that every Sunday into Monday we are getting these storms. And of course, we have three classes that are supposed to end this week for work and the weather is totally going to screw that up. Mostly I work from home, but when classes end, I need to go and do the testing and gather data, so I need to be there. I do have contingency plans in place in case of snow days tomorrow, but it’s such a pain in the neck. I can’t wait for spring!!! In the meantime, I just want to hibernate and read all day!!! Wish I could take the winters off and not have to worry about the what the weather at all!

Have a great week everyone!!!

Girl on the train and your two flower books intrigue me. Look forward to your thoughts on these three.

It's pouring rain here and I feel like staying home and reading all day! I hope you don't get too much snow to ruin your plans. I want to read The Girl on the Train so I hope you are enjoying it. I hope you have a great week!

Although it's not too cold here in Texas, my work has taken me to the frozen wastelands of the north (Ontario and Wisconsin) so far this year!

I followed the link you left at The Sunday Post, but I poked around looking at various posts and checking out what you've been reading. I'm with you — always taking a book wherever I go. I even keep one book on my phone just in case that's all I have with me!

We haven't had as much snow but it does seem to always hit on Sunday which irritates and worries me since I work Monday nights so I don't know how driving will be at night. Thankfully for us we actually had a warmer day today and aren't supposed to get any wintry weather till Wednesday. I hope you don't get that much ice. It makes everything so treacherous. Only 40 days till spring!

I really liked First Frost and I want to read A Memory of Violets.

I don't know how people do it who have to get out into the snowy world every day. Be safe.

    Here's my It's Monday!

Snow days do mess up the best laid plans. Hopefully, you will be able to adjust. Our weather has been pretty good. We have much less snow than usual. You can see my week here. Happy reading!

You got Memory of Violets! I love the sound of that one but since I haven't read her previous book even though I've had it for months so I'm trying to be patient. I hope the snow doesn't end up being to big of an issue. I know cold makes me want to curl up and read. I can't imagine throwing snow into the equation! Have a great week!
