The Sunday Post #51 (12.14.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Journey

At the beginning of last week, I had barely made a dent in my Christmas shopping. I have 17 nieces and nephews and I buy a little something for all of them  – crazy, right! – but I’m happy to say as of yesterday, I have all the shopping done, and now I just have to finish making a few parts of some of the gifts. A few of the girls are getting some crocheted items – scarves and baby dolls blankets. What a relief to have all the done! Whew!!!

Today, hubby is getting the tree and we will decorate it this week and I will finish decorating the house at some point as well. I have my work holiday party on Tuesday, so I was busy making fudge this weekend to bring along with some other items to the luncheon. Can’t believe it’s only 11 days til Christmas!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!

17 nieces and nephews? That sounds crazy! Fun crazy but crazy nonetheless! I love that you made blankets and scarves for some of them. I've been cleaning out my childhood stuff at my dad's house and the main things I'm keeping are things that someone made for me. That's I think what really stays special. I'm so excited about Scorched Eggs! I'm definitely looking forward to reading it! Have a great week!

Wow you certainly did a lot of shopping this past week. It makes me glad I only have the one niece! (And she's now 18!)

That is a lot of Christmas shopping to do! Very impressive! I am not ready for Christmas yet. I haven't sent a single Christmas card!

Have fun decorating your tree and I hope you have a great week!
