The Sunday Post #49 (11.30.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s
It’s Monday post over at Book Journey

We had a very nice Thanksgiving up at my sister-in-laws and got to meet our newest niece!!! My husband did all the cooking and as usual the food was delicious! Of course, our trip up to Boston was a bit harried due to the Nor’easter, but we lucked out with just rain all the way up. At home, we ended up with a few inches, but I have a feeling it might all melt today as it’s supposed to get up to around 50 degrees today – crazy weather once again! Now it’s time to get into the Christmas spirit, but I think I’m going to wait until next weekend to start decorating…

Have a great week everyone!!!

I'm listening to a Tami Hoag book and enjoying it so far. I'm not sure I've read anything before by her but I definitely plan on looking for more of her books. Looking forward to all 3 of your reviews for this coming week. I'm really wanting to read the Reichl! Glad to hear your drive back wasn't too bad though driving in rain can be exhausting. Have a great week!

Glad you had a good Thanksgiving- our snow all melted too and it got warm, but the cold is due to come back. We probably won't decorate til next weekend too.

    Sarah Jio's book looks good.

I want to read Christmas In Dixie. Living on the Gulf Coast, I'm always looking for a southern flavored read. Glad the weather cooperated for your trip and sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Lucky you to have a great cook husband – you chose well! I would like to try reading Beth Ciotta at some time, as I might like her writing.

Nice assortment of books. I haven't listened to an audiobook in a while. I usually listen on long car rides but haven't gone anywhere. I'm glad your trip wasn't marred by really bad weather. Come see my week. Happy reading!
