The Sunday Post #32 (7.20.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey

So, last week I was on call for Jury Duty – what a pain that was. I couldn’t make any plans for the week until I knew if I had to report in. Luckily for me, I never had to go in, but it sure messed up my week. This week is all about getting ready for my next 1/2 marathon that I’m walking…I can’t wait!!! I’m doing the MoonWalk NYC – it’s a charity event for Breast Cancer and all participants must walk in their bras.  My mom and sister are doing the walk with me and we still need to decide how we are going to decorate our bras…that’s this week’s project!

Have a great week everyone!!!

I'm very intrigued by The Sweet Spot. I've heard some great things. That's annoying about jury duty. I think I'd rather have to go in than spend my time not sure what was going on. Have fun at the breast cancer walk!

I am looking forward to The Sweet Spot too! I've got to get to The Tea Shop on Lavender Lane. Best of success on the cancer walk, hope you share pictures.

I had a lousy reading week, hope this week is better. I bought two books I'd read because of author events. I also purchased Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng.
Good luck on your half marathon.

I'm dying to read Big Little Lies, I love Liane Moriarty's writing! The breast cancer half marathon is a fabulous one to support, all the best!! Happy reading and have fun decorating 🙂

I've never been called for jury duty and that's okay with me. I can see how it would be quite disruptive. I'm reading lots of review books this week too. Come see my week. Happy reading!

I have done Jury Duty once and I thought it was cool but then it was only a day trial. Fiza, Jury Duty is when we get called up to be a part of a Jury and decide if someone is guilty or innocent after the trial.

Not heard of any of these reads. Happy reading.

I don't think I can randomly walk the streets in my bra but if it's for a good cause I'm all for it! 😀

Looking forward to seeing your review of Little Mercies. I LOVED it.

I am going to check your review for That Night to see what you thought. It was an ok read for me. I loved the ending, but the beginning was a bit slow for me.

I have Big Little Lies…I am hoping it is as good as The Husband's Secret.

ENJOY the rest of this week.
