The Sunday Post #7 (1.12.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

 I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.

It’s so nice to be back to a normal schedule. Back to the gym and working out, with my training back on track for the 1/2 marathon which is in just about 2 months from now…eeek!!! I’m really excited about it and just made my hotel reservations this weekend. My mom is doing the walk with me – which is so cool, by the way!!! – and since the marathon is in Washington, DC, we are going to spend an extra day doing some sight-seeing. I can’t wait as I haven’t been to DC since high school!

I also registered for BEA – it will be my first time attending and I am super-psyched!!! Being that I only live about 40 minutes north of NYC, I figured I really should take advantage of it being in the city before they move it to Chicago. I made my reservations for a hotel and will be stalking the BEA website from now until the event so I don’t miss anything. Are you attending or have you attended in the past? Any tips or suggestions you’d be willing to share with this BEA newbie???

I have Fear Nothing on my list…

Good luck on the marathon…and congrats on BEA. I keep waiting for it to come back to LA, where it was in 2008, but I guess it will work its way across the country.

I didn't know enough back then to really participate in all the events.

    Enjoy…and here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

Good luck with the marathon and for some silly reason I thought BEA was in NO this year..that must be another event. It is nice to get back into a routine. Have a lovely week!

Good luck with the marathon! And no BEA for me. I'd love to go to AAD since it's in Charlotte this year. 🙂
