Back in February, I read and posted my review of Jennifer Chiaverini’s debut stand-alone novel, Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker, which I absolutely loved!!! You can find my thoughts on the book here. The book has recently been released in paperback and Jennifer is touring with TLC Books.

This book sounds so interesting because it is about a lesser known character, not Mrs Lincoln but her dressmaker. I find that fascinating.

Pres. Lincoln has always been one of my hubby's favorite people. But we really know so little about Mrs. Lincoln – and I'm not sure she is often cast in a good light. This book, Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker, though a novel and more about Elizabeth Keckley, will hopefully allow me a better picture of Mary Todd Lincoln.
