It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (10.28.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

As you can see from all the books I’m currently reading – I’m all over the place. I can’t seem to settle on one book despite the fact that they are all pretty good. I think it’s mainly because I’ve only been able to read in small spurts of time due to the puppy. I’m hoping to get some longer stretches in this week – I need to get these books done!!!

Books Completed last week:

  • With Open Eyes by Iris Johansen (e-book)
  • Only Yours by Susan Mallery (library book)

Reading Now:

  • The Perfect Match by Kristan Higgins (review e-book)
  • Before I Met You by Lisa Jewell (review book)
  • The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman (mine, book lovers unite book club book)
  • The Engagements by J. Courtney Sullivan (library audio book) – car
  • Light of the Moon by Luanne Rice (library audio book) – iPod

Next:

  • Only His by Susan Mallery (library book)
  • The Keepsake by Tess Gerritsen (library book)

about you?  What does your reading

week?  Whatever it is,
happy reading and have a good
week!

I don't know how you juggle so many books! The most I keep up in the air is two, and one of those is audio. Maybe you could teach the puppy to read too!!

I never used to be able to read more than one book at a time, but since starting to listen to audio, I find it's not that bad!

I'll be anxious to see what you think about The Engagements. I had purchased it and then returned it because I spent too much on books that week.

I'm finding it quite interesting…the stories are all set at different times and while it took a while to remember who was who, it's really good.

Puppies are so cute, but require a lot of time. I hope you have a great week. It looks like you have some wonderful books lined up.

I really need to catch up on my Iris Johansen as I haven't read either of the ones you list. Have fun with your new puppy. Reading will always wait. Come see my Monday Report. Happy reading!

I normally have 3 books on the go but the last few weeks my reading has been sooo slow, and life so busy. I think I'll have to pick a more riveting audiobook. Are we going to see a photo of puppy?

PS thanks for the fitbit add … happy reading and walking ๐Ÿ™‚

Now that I'm training for walking my 1st 1/2 marathon, I'll be listening to a lot more audio – will be looking for good suggestions, too!

I'll send you a pic of the puppy! Glad to have you as a fitbit friend, too!

Kristin, I am having the same reading challenges, due to Daisy, our puppy. She's a handful–and then some!

What kind of dog is Daisy? My puppy is a choc lab – and she's quite the ball of energy!!!

You had a good week ;). I've got lots of November ARCs to read, and I'm very excited about most of them. I only finished THE WHOLE GOLDEN WORLD by Kristina Riggle.
