Bout of Books 8.0: Sign-Up & Goals

This week I will be participating in another round of Book of Books. This is a great, no-pressure read-a-thon. Here is some info
about the read-a-thon from the
founders:

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender
and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that
begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th
in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and
the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of
books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand
prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 8.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

My Goals:

  • To read as much as possible this week
  • To finish at least 4 complete books, plus the 1 that I need to finish

My List of Books (a combo of review books, library books and fun books):

  • The Comfort of Lies by Randy Susan Meyers – need to finish
  • Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen
  • Persuasion by Jane Austen
  • The Other Woman by Hank Phillipi Ryan
  • A Fitting End by Melissa Bourbon
  • The Mephisto Club by Tess Gerritsen

Wish me luck and let me know if you are participating so I can cheer you on!!!

I really want to read The Comfort of Lies so you will have to let me know what you think! Good luck with your read-a-thon goals…I hope that you enjoy all of your reads!

I just finished Sense and Sensibility 🙂 I'd read it before, but forgot how funny Jane Austen can be! I'm also trying to read as much as possible and have three specific books I'm trying to get through. Good luck with your list!

Good luck with the read-a-thon! I'll be doing it as well. I am reading a few Austen books too this month (not as part of BoB though). Persuasion is my favorite. Hope you enjoy it!
