It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (5.20.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

I can’t believe that this coming weekend is already Memorial Day Weekend!!! Hopefully the weather will be nice as hubby is sailing in regattas all three days. Despite the fact that my favorite reading spot down at the boat club – the porch overlooking the water – was a casualty of Superstorm Sandy, I still plan on spending my weekend there, reading while hubby is out sailing.

For those of you that live in NY/NJ – have you heard of the event happening at the Princeton Library? On June 7th, they are hosting Beach Reads 2013, where 8 authors will be discussing their latest books and then sharing what they have on their summer reading list. Even though it’s a bit of a hike for me, especially on a Friday evening with all the beach traffic, I am planning to attend. Anyone else going? If you’re thinking about going – let me know as I’d love to meet up with you there!

I did. Have you read newest book, While We Were Watching Downton Abbey? I have that on my shelf just waiting to be read.

I have always been fascinated by the story of Lady Jane Grey. I can't remember if I read Innocent Traitor.

It is hard to believe Memorial Day is nearly here. I am looking forward to summer! Have a great week 🙂

Innocent Traitor is really good so far – this is the second audio I've done of Alison Weir's books. They're so compelling!

I would have loved to try to meet up with you in Princeton- a bit of a hike for me up in Morris County, but I need to be in the city that evening.
I would love to hear what the authors say! Hope you have a great weekend.
