It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (4.29.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Vacation was a great – just what we needed! Aruba is one of my favorite places on earth and this was the 3rd time in the 4 years we’ve been married that we’ve been there. It really is one happy place! While hubby went out scuba diving, I would just sit at the beach and read – it was so relaxing and I got quite a lot of books read!

I was smart this time in that I took the week after vacation off as well! This allowed me to catch up on emails, the blog, laundry and everything else. We also were able to put the big boat in the water on Saturday – it was the perfect day for a nice boat ride! Summer is definitely just around the corner and I can’t wait!!!

Yes, that's the price to pay for getting so much reading done on vacation – having the reviews pile up! I'm hoping to make a dent in them this week.

You have several books on your list that I've loved….and some I want to read….enjoy!

Yes, it's funny that way, isn't it…I always come back crazed and frantic but taking this second week off really helped with that!

Sounds gorgeous! We have been practically floating around here this weekend, it has rained so much. And, of course, the day we head back to work is gorgeous. Oh well. At least someone somewhere saw some sun! Enjoy your week!

I'm glad you had a good time in Aruba. I'm definitely ready for summer weather too. Ocean Beach sounds good and so does Barefoot in the Sand. I won't be near a beach anytime soon but it will be nice to read about it anyway 🙂
