Stacking the Shelves (33) 2.10.13

Tynga of Tynga’s Reviews is starting a new meme to spotlight the books we receive each week.  Here’s what I got:

For Review:

Iced Chiffon

by Duffy Brown

This
is the first in Duffy Brown’s Consignment Shop Mystery series and I am looking forward to reading this.

Beautiful Bastard

by Christine Lauren

This looks like an interesting read…I guess we will see!

Purchased:

The Good Daughter

by Jane Porter

This
is the second in Jane Porter’s Brennan Sisters trilogy and I am so
looking forward to reading this. I attended an early release party for
this book and loved getting to meet Jane.

Flirting With Forty

by Jane Porter

While
at the early release party for The Good Daughter, I picked up a couple
of other books by Jane Porter that I have not read yet.

Mrs. Perfect

by Jane Porter

Another of Jane’s books that I haven’t read and wanted to add to my book collection!

Summer in Small Town (e-book)

by Emilie Richards & Sheila Roberts

This
contains two short stories – Treasure Beach by Emilie Richards and
Welcome to Icicle Falls by Sheila Roberts. The Sheila Roberts’ story is
the first in her Life in Icicle Falls series.

From Netgalley:

What She Wants (e-book)

by Sheila Roberts

This is the next in Sheila Roberts’ Life in Icicle Falls series and I am looking forward to reading it.

Breathe (e-book)

by Kate Bishop

This was a ‘read now’ option on Netgalley and it sounds really interesting – a book about someone turning to yoga to deal with life.

Touch & Go (e-book)

by Lisa Gardner

This is Lisa Gardner’s newest book – she writes great suspenseful thriller that I cannot wait to read.

The Lost Husband (e-book)

by Katherine Center

I’ve
read some other books by Katherine Center and have really enjoyed them,
so was excited to see she has a new book coming out later this spring.

Sand Castle Bay (e-book)

by Sherryl Woods

This
is the first in Sherryl Woods’ new series, Ocean Breeze, which is due
out next month and I am looking forward to reading it. I’ve read most of
her other series and love her stories.

What did you get this week?

A few of those are on my arc shelf – can't wait to read the newest Icicle Falls book and Katherine Center's new book. I remember seeing the movie adaptation of Flirting with Forty – cute.

Yes, I am looking forward to the Icicle books – did you ever read the first one?

I need to see if I can find that movie…after I read the book, of course!

Great selection. I am interested in many of them but most interested in the new Lisa Gardner. I'll be watching for your reviews. My new book posts are at Ms. Martin Teaches Media (YA) and Inside of a Dog (Adult). Happy reading!

I can't wait to get to that one…I love her writing! I'm bummed that she was at a bookstore near my dad's house last week up in NH. I just couldn't get up there – I would have loved to meet her!

Yes, it does. Have you read anything by Katherine Center? Her other books were pretty good – quick, fun reads!

Thanks…I love getting all these new books (and so many of them free!) but it just makes those piles of books waiting to be read that much bigger!

Breath seems interesting. I've seen it around the blog world before, but decided to look into it today. I am not a big romance reader, but I do love yoga, so I may give it a try. Have fun with these.
