Bout of Books 6.0: Goals

Last August I participated in the Bout of Books read-a-thon for the first time and loved it. So, I thought I would do it again. Here is some info about the read-a-thon from the
founders:

“The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender
and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that
begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th
in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and
the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of
books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand
prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team”

My Goals:

  • To read/ listen at least 2 hours a day M-F and at least 5 hours on Saturday and Sunday
  • To finish at least 4 complete books, plus the 1 that I need to finish
  • To listen to at least 3 hours of audio

My List of Books (a combo of review books, library books and fun books):

  • The Winter Palace by Eva Stachniak – need to finish
  • Big Sky River by Linda Lael Miller
  • Perfect Fit by Carly Phillips
  • The Forgotten Queen by DL Bogdan
  • The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society by Darien Gee
  • The Kommandant’s Girl by Pam Jenoff
  • The Diplomat’s Wife by Pam Jenoff

These are are audio books that I am hoping to make progress on:

  • Summer House by Nancy Thayer (audio)
  • Seven Up by Janet Evanovich (audio)

Wish me luck and let me know if you are participating so I can cheer you on!!!

Hope the read-a-thon goes well, I am adding some listening in too, as I tend to get behind with audio and have a plenty in the TBR list. I haven't tried Nancy Thayer so must look her up.

I've listened to quite a few books by Nancy Thayer – they are all great.
