It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (12.17.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Well, it ended up being a rather productive week – due partly to the fact that I pulled a tendon in my foot and need to stay off it as much as possible. Not the greatest timing for having to stay off your feet, but it is helping me get in some quality reading time. Last week I posted that I needed to read 12 books in order to complete all the challenges I am participating in this year. In the past week, I finished 2 books from the list and am in the middle of reading/listening to 3 others.  We’ll see how this week goes.

Today is the last day of the 1st Annual Historical Holiday Blog Hop. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out what I’m giving away.
Also be sure to check out the other participating blogs – there are
some great giveaways, plus a few grand prize giveaways as well!

Ouch! That sounds so painful! I hope you heal up quickly..even though a foot injury is good for your reading goals 😉 Have a great week!

You have a lot of books on your reading list that I want to read too. The Christmas Cookie Club sounds like a fun book for this time of year and I've been wanting to read Julie and Julia (and see the movie).

I hope your tendon heals soon and I hope you get caught up on your reading and the things you couldn't get done due to your injury.

    Have a great week!

I'm going to be reading more Stephanie Plum books in the New Year, as I joined a Sequels Challenge. That should motivate me.

Dreams of Joy looks tempting…and I loved Julie & Julia…especially the movie.

Glad you got the bonus of reading time from your injury but I hope it heals fast. You have a fantastic line up of books listed, many on my TBR stacks.
Enjoy your reads this week 🙂
