It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (11.19.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Unfortunately,
I didn’t get too much done this week. I ended up with a massive
headache on Thursday and it lingered on until Sunday. The only good
thing is that because I couldn’t spend time reading, I got all my
cleaning and most of my shopping done for Thanksgiving and got some
quality crochet time in. This week is going to be busy with holiday
baking, last minute shopping for the fresh vegetables, and last minute
spot cleaning. Hopefully after the holiday, I will get some reading time
in!

Books Completed last week:

  • Stake & Eggs by Laura Childs (review book)

Reading Now:

  • Merry Christmas, Alex Cross by James Patterson (mine)
  • Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel (mine)

What
about you?  What does your reading
week look like this
week?  Whatever it is,
happy reading and have a good
week!

Enjoy the holidays and I do hope you get more reading time though you've done very well with such a little time!

Sounds like a horrid headache hanging around for days!! I'd like to crochet some more flowers for scrapbooking later in the week, maybe while I listen to an audiobook 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the holiday weekend!

It was a slow week for me too. But sometimes it can't be helped and it's always good to have a bit of a break just to keep enjoying what we do.

I hope your headache is completely gone. I am glad you were able to get some cleaning and other stuff done even when you couldn't read.

I am going to be doing some holiday baking and figuring out recipes for Thursday. Thankfully my parents host Thanksgiving because I didn't get any cleaning done this weekend 🙂

Have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, headaches are the worst! I used to get them a lot more…perhaps leaving my thirty year career in a stressful job helped! lol

Hope you have a better week. Love the look of your book list…I keep meaning to read something by Iris Johansen; I've enjoyed several of the books made into movies.

Must read more of the Stephanie Plum books.
