It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (7.9.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Well, for all my good intentions of getting a lot of reading done last week, it sure didn’t work out that way. Part of the reason is that it was so hot, I didn’t end up spending as much time on the porch of the boat club reading as I was hoping. I ended up home and of course, there were distractions there, primarily the computer and my crazy addiction to Pinterest. The only good thing is that I found some really good pins of recipes and craft projects! Oh well, maybe this week will be more productive – at least the weather is supposed to be a bit cooler.

Books Completed last week:

  • Spring Fever by Mary Kaye Andrews (review audio book)
  • The Queen’s Vow by CW Gortner (review book)

I am almost done with it – I have about a half hour left and am listening to it right now…so intense! I just saw that she has another book – Never Knowing. I'm definitely going to be looking for that one!

I loved Spring Fever and I want to read The Queen's Vow. I still have to read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Still Missing.

I hope you find more time to read this week. It is easy to get distracted by the Internet sometimes especially with websites like Pinterest. 🙂

Spring Fever was a cute book. The Queen's Vow was great – I'm participating in a blog tour this week for the book. My review will be up Tuesday and then I have a Q&A and giveaway that will be up Thursday.

I love Pinterest, but seriously have to limit my time on it at times!

Thanks for sharing your review on By Hook or by Crook. I was unaware of this series. Having just learned to crochet a couple of years ago, they sound like great books to curl up with on rainy day. Happy Reading!

It's a fun series and I love all the patterns that are included. I got my mom hooked on them and she loves them, too. I like that they are quick reads – usually a day or two at the most!

My review for The Queen's Vow went up last week, and I've got Never Knowing on my reading pile, since Still Missing blew me away!
I love Pinterest too but I'm trying not to get carried away on it lol
Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

My review of The Queen's Vow is going up tomorrow and I have a Q&A and giveaway going up Thursday. I just finished up Still Missing a few minutes ago and all I can say is WOW – what an intense story. I'm going to see if I can get Never Knowing on audio.

I didn't read as much last week as I had hoped and I think it was also because of the heat. Here's hoping we get back to reading!

Was The Queen's Vow as good as The Last Queen? I also didn't get as much reading done last week as I wanted. Thanks for visiting my blog!

It's so good…I'm almost done with it and I don't want it to end. It's a sad story, but so well done.

I hope you're liking Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I listened to the second two on audiobook, and enjoyed them much more that way than reading.

I actually read Girl With the Dragon Tattoo a while ago and am listening to it now just to refresh my memory as to what happened. I'm planning on reading the other two sometime this summer.
