It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (9.5.11)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

This week was a little better reading-wise…partly because of having no power last Monday. This past weekend proved to allow for a lot of reading while hubby was out sailing. Now if I can only get caught up on those reviews!

  • Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson (mine)

I am always looking for new audio books. What do you think of the Lisa Gardner you are listening too?

@Lisa (Lisa's World of Books) It's really good so far. This is the first in the series that I've listened to. I also love the audio versions of Iris Johansen – Jennifer Van Dyke does the narration and she is awesome!

Oh, I see several on your list that I either enjoyed or want to read.

I love Hilderbrand's books, but haven't yet read Silver Girl.

I've enjoyed Claire Cook, Debbie Macomber, Anita Shreve, Kristin Hannah…etc. I'm now reading Darkness, My Old Friend.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

@Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow Yes, it does seem that we enjoy some of the same authors. Silver Girl was great and was the first audio I listened to of Elin Hilderbrand's books.

I liked Silver Girl and Yakima Street. Off to read your reviews. Have a great week.

Its' always easier and quicker to read the books than it is to review them. 🙂 And I seem to either be in the mood for one or the other, but never both at the same time.

I'm on the long wait list for Kill Me If You Can. I'm looking forward to reading it. I listened to Silver Girl on audio and really didn't care for it. It's the second book by the author that fell flat for me. Which is disappointing because I've read such glowing reviews about her books. I do need to start reading the Cedar Cove series again. I did enjoy them. Have a good reading week!

I have Water for Elephants but haven't read it yet. I've also been meaning to try Elin Hilderbrand's books. I will have to check out your reviews!
